In honor of this high holy day: Cosmopolitans for 4!12 oz vodka (1 & 1/2 cup) 6 oz triple sec (3/4 cup)6 oz cranberry juice8 oz fresh lime juice (1 cup — juice of about 5 limes) Mix together. Put in empty juice/water bottles. Stick the bottles in the freezer for 30 minutes or so, to get some good, icy slush. By the time you’re in your seats, it’ll be perfectly chilled!Note: I increased this recipe by half, and I’m seeing the movie with just 2 other people.  But we did time in New Orleans.  Or at least that’s been our excuse all these years, and we’re stickin’ by it. xx Nora

In honor of this high holy day: Cosmopolitans for 4!

12 oz vodka (1 & 1/2 cup)

6 oz triple sec (3/4 cup)

6 oz cranberry juice

8 oz fresh lime juice (1 cup — juice of about 5 limes)

Mix together. Put in empty juice/water bottles. Stick the bottles in the freezer for 30 minutes or so, to get some good, icy slush. By the time you’re in your seats, it’ll be perfectly chilled!

Note: I increased this recipe by half, and I’m seeing the movie with just 2 other people.  But we did time in New Orleans.  Or at least that’s been our excuse all these years, and we’re stickin’ by it.
